Loveland, Ohio Probate Services & Legal Help

Home Loveland, Ohio Probate Services & Legal Help

Before we share some very important Loveland, Ohio probate resources, we should explain the function of the probate court. When someone passes away using a last will as a vehicle of asset transfer, it would be admitted to probate. The executor or personal representative would complete the estate administration tasks, and supervision would be provided by the court.

This court also oversees asset distributions when people die without any estate planning documents at all. Guardianship matters are handled by the probate court as well. This would be true when it comes to children, and there are also adult guardianships and conservatorships. The court can be petitioned to appoint a guardian to make decisions for an adult that has become incapacitated.

The attorneys here at our firm have a great deal of experience with the local probate courts, so we would be more than glad to provide assistance if you are dealing with a probate matter.

Hamilton County Probate Court

The court that you would work with if you have a probate situation on your hands in Loveland, Ohio would depend on the county that you live in. Parts of the city sit in three different counties, and this is a rather unique dynamic.

One of them is Hamilton County, and the Hamilton County Probate Court is in the William Howard Taft Center. The exact address is 230 East Ninth Street in Cincinnati. The court is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and they can be reached by phone at 513-946-3600.

Clermont County Probate Court

A portion of Loveland is in Clermont County. The Clermont County Probate Court is at 2379 Clermont Center Drive in Batavia, which is just off Bauer Road. It is also open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Their phone number is 513.721.1513.

Warren County Probate Court

Some Loveland residents reside in Warren County. The entity that handles probate matters is the Court of Common Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Division, and it is located at 900 Memorial Drive in Lebanon. It has the same hours of operation as the other two courts, and the phone number is 513-695-1180.

Ohio Probate Code

If you would like to gain a thorough understanding of the probate process in Loveland and the rest of Ohio, you can go directly to the source. Chapter 2113 of the Ohio Revised Code spells out all of the details.

What Our Clients Say

Some years ago, Barry Zimmer suggested we do a basic estate plan for our son when he went to college. We had no idea how important it would be! In our son's freshman year, he ended up in the hospital, and we were able to get crucial information about his condition because we had a health care ...
